The benefits and downfalls of being a VTuber.

 Yeah, we've seen them everywhere. VTubers are basically those adorable anime waifus that catch true otakus off guard. It's fun, it's a nice experience and even made many a living in general.

But what are the benefits and downfalls of this franchise? I've made some up over here.


Benefits

  • It allows expression.
    • Of course, VTubers are showing off their flamboyant avatars, but that's the point. When they show their VTuber model, interact with their chat or do activities live, it's a way for the person of the VTuber to express the epitome of their personality. Way way better than be a shut-in, right?
  • Builds a form of entertainment.
    • Let's face it. In real time, you're talking to an anime girl. For some, that might just be quite entertaining and delightful. And that's nice, and it keeps your audience coming back for more.
  • Money
    • We see large text appear on the livestream, that Animeotaku123 donated $6000 dollars or something. That is also a bridge of interaction of fans to VTuber, and from the perspective of the VTuber, a source of income and a living even.
Pitfalls
  • Unhealthy parasocial relationships.
    • Even if it's nice to watch your favorite VTuber, some actually get freaky enough to become actual simps, maybe mostly Redditors are doing this, but I really wouldn't know. As a result, it could cause tension and even backfire if a female VTuber interacts with a male, maybe even sneezing in their direction. (Gooners, ahem.)
  • Burnout
    • Livestreams go on for a while, yes, but at the same time, the person behind the model is still a human. They are going to experience like how all of us do. These streams go on for hours, who knows how they feel mentally after it. 
  • Digital footprint and drama.
    • We heard in school that whatever we put, say or even interact with on the internet will be a permanent scar, cut or wound. Yes, here, when a VTuber gets in hot water (For example, Nyanners and her past.) it will taint their career in general, either being minor enough to be forgiven, or major enough to make them leave the Internet entirely.

A random post about Pronghorns

 I just learned about pronghorns, basically "American Antelopes". They aren't actually antelopes apparently and are more related to giraffes and okapi (forest giraffe).  In some sources, they are considered the second-fastest land animal, behind cheetahs. The adaptation of a pronghorn might've also been influenced by an extinct species known as the American cheetah. That's odd actually, I never knew they existed.  Even if they're the "second-fastest" land animal, they can sustain their speeds for much longer than a cheetah, possibly being able to outrun such predator. As for the "horns" of the pronghorn, they basically have sheath that cover bony cores. This sheath, however, is shed and regrown every year. In comparison, cows have engrained bones covered in keratin, while deer have antlers made purely of bone that fall off. List of things I believe will help me isolate from everything.

Stay away from communication and any social media. Finish projects ASAP so you won't have to hear anything. Do stuff with yourself always. Distract yourself with the TV. Sleep forever Consider saying goodbye to some communities. Take a break from a project, maybe even a hiatus. Don't talk to people at school much. Be uninterested with what they say. Don't reach out for friends first, let them try to reach to you. Be a man on his own island. Bury yourself in hobbies, most importantly ones that you believe you can do with yourself. Disappear completely. Stop thinking about people you want to be with/future goals involving 2+ people. Turn off any notifications, keep the world outside your ears. Speak to your emotions. If they don't fit you, then ignore them.
